Cambodia’s Siem Reap province, home to the famous Angkor temples, and Phnom Penh capital have been named Asia’s Best of the Best Destinations 2025 by Tripadvisor, a world-known online platform for travellers.

Among the 25 Best of the Best Destinations in Asia for 2025, Siem Reap cultural province was ranked 5th while Phnom Penh, the heart of Cambodia, came in 18th on the list.

“These destinations are our top spots for good reason—they’ve got everything travellers are looking for and more,” Tripadvisor said.

Worldwide, Siem Reap occupies the 14th spot, just behind Cusco of Peru and before Lisbon of Portugal.

Tripadvisor runs an award exercise annually for travellers' favourite destinations based on reviews and ratings collected throughout the year.
