Nearly 600 Multinational Tourists on Board of a Cruise Ship Visit Cambodia

"SEABOURN ENCORE" cruise ship carrying 592 tourists of 22 different nationalities, 307 of whom are women, is paying a day-long visit to Cambodia.
The tourist ship of 210.5 metres long, 28 metres wide and 6 metres deep, sailing under the flag of Bahamas, docked at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port in Preah Sihanouk province early this morning, said the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.
Among the 592 passengers, 332 are American, 106 are British, and the rest have different nationalities.
Coming from Thailand, the cruise ship with 404 crewmembers of 47 different nationalities, of them 102 are women, will depart for Vietnam this evening.
More and more tourism vessels bringing along thousands of multinational tourists and crewmembers visited Cambodia via the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.
Tourism is a priority sector in promoting Cambodia’s macroeconomic growth and social development and is expected to take up the biggest part in the country's GDP in the near future.
