AKP Phnom Penh, March 03, 2025 --
The Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) will build another stadium dubbed "Kok Thlok" and the FFC’s headquarters, worth US$4.4 million funded by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
The update was shared by H.E. Gen. Sao Sokha, President of FFC, during the federation's annual meeting to review its work results in 2024 and set forth new directions for 2025, in Phnom Penh last weekend, adding that this is a new achievement in the development of Cambodia's sports infrastructure.
Located in Prek Taben village, Prek Anchanh commune, Muk Kampoul district, Kandal province, the stadium and FFC's headquarters are scheduled to be built in 2025 and completed in 2026, continued the federation's president.
The stadium is expected to accommodate up to 12,000 spectators, but in the first phase, it will be built for only 4,200 spectators, pointed out H.E. Gen. Sao Sokha.
