Films from 41 Countries to be Screened during 14th Cambodia International Film Festival

Some 150 films from 41 countries, including 60 Cambodian films, showcasing short and feature films, documentaries, and animation, will be screened to mark the 14th Cambodia International Film Festival (CIFF) to be held from Mar. 21 to 29.
According to a CIFF’s press release, during the said period, the 14th CIFF offers 150+ screenings and events, FREE OF CHARGE, in all major cinemas and other fabulous venues in Phnom Penh including Legend Cinema Olympia and Exchange Square, Major Cineplex Aeon 1 and Mean Chey, French Institute, Bophana Centre, Rosewood Hotel Phnom Penh and the new Fable Cinema.
The red carpet of the Opening Gala of the 14th CIFF will be taking place at Chaktomuk Theater on Mar. 21, the source pointed out.
A press conference on the 14th CIFF was held here this morning, during which award winning actress Thorn Thanet shared about her experiences on the film set, her experience from international film events, while Mr. Chea Sophea, Executive Director of Bophana Centre presented special programmes such as “1975–2025: FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT IN CAMBODIA’S STORY", as well as VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE - KHMER ROUGE MEMORY of “Stay Alive, My Son,” by Pin Yathay, adapted into VR experience by Hollywood tech savy VICTORIA BOUSIS and starring French-Cambodian celebrity ELODIE YUNG.
