The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) acknowledged China's contribution to developing Cambodia's high-standard professional sports.

The acknowledgement was highlighted by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and Secretary General of the NOCC, during a meeting with Mr. Zeng Huacheng, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Commerce of China, and representatives from the Embassy of China in Phnom Penh, at the NOCC's headquarters here on Mar. 12.

It followed China’s more support for Cambodia, including training for 161 Cambodian athletes for the SEA Games 2025 and the Asian Youth Games 2029 in Cambodia.

China is also considering the continuation of maintenance support for the Morodok Techo National Stadium.
