China Minsheng Stone Industry Group, based in Xiamen, China, has expressed strong interest in investing in marble processing and artificial marble production in Cambodia.

Mr. Mai Jianglong, Vice President of China Minsheng Stone Industry Group, met here on Mar. 28 with H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and his colleagues to discuss potential investment opportunities. 

The Chinese company aims to establish a presence in Cambodia for marble processing and the manufacturing of artificial marble products.

During the meeting, H.E. Chea Vuthy, welcomed and supported the company's investment plans in Cambodia. He highlighted Cambodia's favourable investment environment, including attractive investment incentives and supportive government policies aimed at enhancing the country's business climate.

The secretary-general encouraged the company to expedite its investment decision to capitalise on the promising opportunities and urged them to prioritise the utilisation of local raw materials within their production chain to maximise value creation within the Cambodian economy.
