NA President Wishes Myanmar a Swift Recovery
AKP Phnom Penh, March 29, 2025 --
President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, has expressed her hope for a rapid recovery for Myanmar from the tragic earthquake that struck the country on Mar. 28, claiming numerous lives, including revered monks, causing severe damage, and necessitating urgent evacuations.
“During this difficult time, on behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences and sympathies to you and, through you, to the government and the people of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar,” she said in her condolence message to H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaning, Chairman of the State Administration Council of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, on Mar. 29.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and all those affected. I wish the survivors strength and resilience and hope for a swift recovery for your country from this tragic disaster,” added Samdech Khuon Sudary.
