Thirteen (13) Cambodian athletes are attending the 1st Kickboxing World Cup 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, from April 7 to 12.

President of the Cambodian Kickboxing Federation H.E. Heng Sokkhorn, who is the delegation head, noted before their departure from the Phnom Penh International Airport early this week that it is another good opportunity for Cambodian kickboxers to sharpen their capacity.

The athletes, he added, will accumulate more experience from their participation and get more ready for future international competition, especially the 33rd SEA Games 2025 in Thailand in December.

H.E. Heng Sokkhorn was optimistic that Cambodian athletes will perform very well and bring success for the nation.

Over 1,000 athletes from 52 countries have registered for the 1st Kickboxing World Cup 2025, and the Cambodian boxers will compete in three disciplines, including K1, Low Kick, and Full Contact.
