The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports and the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) are committed to promoting Cambodia's teqball, especially for the Asian Youth Games 2029 in Cambodia.

The commitment was highlighted in a meeting between H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and Mr. Gabor Borsanyi, President of the FITEQ, at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) in Phnom Penh on May 19.

Mr. Gabor Borsanyi reaffirmed that the federation will help train Teqball sport at institutions and schools in Cambodia as well as develop Teqball human resources for the sports federation of the country.

According to H.E. Vath Chamroeun, a strategic action plan for the development of teqball and table volleyball is being developed.

The Cambodia Teqball Federation also planned to increase the number of coaches and training programmes, he added.
