Ten (10) Cambodian national table tennis athletes, including 4 females, are getting trained for the forthcoming two international sports events—the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain in October 2025 and the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in December 2025.

According to Mr. Heng Socheat, Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodia Table Tennis Federation, of the ten athletes, two are being trained in the U.S.

The federation prepares four nursery athletes in three disciplines, including men's and women's singles and mixed couples, for the Asian Youth Games 2025 in Bahrain, said Mr. Heng Socheat.

The deputy secretary general was positive that the Cambodian national table tennis athletes will get good results at the 33rd SEA Games 2025 in Thailand.

The gathering for training is organised by the National Centre for Sports Training of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, he added.

Cambodia will host the Asian Youth Games in 2029.
