Cambodian Jiu-Jitsu Athletes Win 11 Medals at Competition in Jordan
AKP Phnom Penh, May 29, 2025 --
The 2025 Asian Championship Adult & U21 was successfully concluded after a five-day competition (May 22-26) in Jordan, with Cambodian athletes winning 11 medals—two gold, six silver, and three bronze.
The two gold medals were grabbed by Ms. Tin Sovann Bokeo in the U21 Jiu-Jitsu Show Women and Ms. Heng Seavhieng in the U21 Jiu-Jitsu Duo Women.
According to H.E. Thong Thorn, Acting President of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Cambodia, the 2025 Asian Championship Adult & U21 is a fantastic opportunity for Cambodian athletes to accumulate their technical experience, and Cambodian athletes have joined this event annually.
The federation sent a delegate, a coach, a technical official, and six athletes to participate in the 2025 Asian Championship Adult & U21 organised by the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IJF).
