Four Cambodian artistic gymnasts have departed for training in the People's Republic of China to get prepared for the forthcoming SEA Games 2025 in Thailand and other regional and international competitions.

H.E. Noy Phana, Secretary General of the Cambodia Gymnastics Federation, shared the update when seeing athletes off at the Phnom Penh International Airport on July 8.

Of the four athletes, two will be trained for the SEA Games to be held in December 2025 in Thailand, while the two others will be trained for other international competitions in the future, he said.

The training will further sharpen the capacity of Cambodian gymnasts, as they will compete with the best foreign athletes in the Southeast Asian region and beyond who have passed the Olympic Games qualifiers and are Olympic medalists.

Both the federation and the Cambodian artistic gymnasts are committed to working and training hard to promote this sport and win medals in regional and international competitions.
