AKP Phnom Penh, February 16, 2026 —

Eight lion and dragon dance troupes take part in ritual performances and offerings to Preah Ang Dangker and other deities in front of the Royal Palace’s Prasat Tevea Vinichay in Phnom Penh this morning on the occasion of the 2026 Chinese New Year celebrations.

The lion and dragon dance performances were held to drive away misfortune from the old year and to welcome happiness, and prosperity in the year ahead.
