Large “Art for Peace” Mural Takes Shape in Front of Botum Vattey Pagoda

A large-scale “Art for Peace” mural, depicting the pain, wounds, and suffering caused by Thailand’s acts of aggression against Cambodia, is gradually taking shape in front of Botum Vattey pagoda in Phnom Penh.
Launched on Feb. 20, 2026, the 5 metres by 35 metres mural project is expected to complete in early March. It will be displayed for the public until May 3, 2026.
