Cambodia to Organise “Village Francophone” as Side Event of 20th Francophonie Summit 2026

The Ministry of Tourism has announced the organisation of the “Village Francophone” in Phnom Penh from Nov. 13 to 17, 2026, in celebration of the 20th Francophonie Summit, which Cambodia will host from Nov. 14 to 16.
According to the announcement, the event will be organised by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with relevant ministries and institutions to mark Cambodia’s role as host of the important international summit.
The “Village Francophone” will showcase the tourism and cultural potentials of member countries of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), alongside Cambodia’s tourism attractions, products, and services.
The Ministry of Tourism has invited the public, tourism associations, tourism operators, private sector representatives, development partners, media, national and international tourists, and other relevant stakeholders to actively participate in and help promote the event.
The initiative aims to attract more visitors to the country and further promote Cambodia as a tourism destination under the slogan “Cambodia – Kingdom of Wonder, Feel the Warmth, Safe, Clean and Green.”
