Russian Naval Ships to Visit Cambodia for Four-Day Goodwill Mission
AKP Phnom Penh, April 03, 2026 -- Three warships from the Russian Federation Navy are scheduled to dock at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port for a four-day official visit to Cambodia from April 5 to 8, according to an official from Ream Naval Base.
The visit aims to strengthen solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between the governments of Cambodia and Russia, with a particular focus on enhancing exchanges of experience between the two countries’ naval forces.
The three vessels taking part in the mission are the Sovershennyy (No. 333), Rezkiy (No. 343), and Pechenga.
During their stay in Cambodia, the Russian naval delegation is expected to pay courtesy calls on the Commander of Ream Naval Base, the Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, and leaders of the Ministry of National Defence.
In addition to official meetings, the visit will include friendly sports activities between the Cambodian and Russian navies, further promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
