Cambodia, Laos Central Youth Bodies Pledge Stronger Ties on Lao New Year

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has reaffirmed the close and growing relationship between the Central Youth of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union (LPRYU) in a message marking the Lao New Year, Pi Mai Lao.
In his letter dated April 13 to H.E. Thongly Sisoulith, Secretary General of the LPRYU, Samdech Thipadei highlighted the importance of youth-to-youth cooperation as a key pillar in strengthening Cambodia-Laos relations. He expressed strong confidence that the longstanding friendship between the two central youth organisations would continue to flourish.
The Prime Minister noted that enhanced collaboration between the CPP’s Central Youth and the LPRYU would contribute to promoting good neighbourliness, solidarity, and win-win cooperation, bringing tangible benefits to both nations.
He also commended the LPRYU for its active role in advancing youth development in Laos, emphasising that strong and coordinated youth engagement across sectors is vital for national progress.
