AKP Phnom Penh, July 30, 2026 -- Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory to H.E. Pierre-André Page, President of the National Council of Switzerland, on the occasion of the National Day of Switzerland.

“On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and on my own behalf, I have the great honour and pleasure of extending my warmest congratulations and felicitations to you, your colleagues, and the people of Swiss Confederation on the occasion of National Day on 01 August 2026,” she wrote in her message released on Thursday.

Samdech Khuon Sudary expressed her confidence that the longstanding ties of friendship and multifaced cooperation between Cambodia and Switzerland, built on mutual respect, mutual understanding, mutual trust, and mutual interests, will be deepened in the years ahead for the mutual benefits of the two peoples.

The National Assembly President reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to further elevating parliamentary cooperation with Switzerland to new heights, both at both bilateral and multilateral platforms, for the sake of lasting peace and prosperity.
