TotalEnergies Views Cambodia’s Investment Situation Positively

Cambodia’s investment situation has been positively evaluated by Mr. Mehmet Celepoglu, Vice President of TotalEnergies for Oceania and Southeast Asia.
The positive assessment was made here this morning when Mr. Mehmet Celepoglu paid a courtesy call on Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
During the meeting, Mr. Mehmet Celepoglu briefed the Premier on TotalEnergies’ international business operations and its positive future prospects and performance in Cambodia.
In addition, he expressed his interest in many good policies and initiatives of the Royal Government, especially on tax reform, a reform programme that supports transparent and fair competition.
In response, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed Mr. Mehmet Celepoglu’s working visit to Cambodia, and highly appreciated the contribution of TotalEnergies to the Kingdom’s socio-economic development.
Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister informed his guest about Cambodia’s investment attraction and incentives policies to ensure a favourable investment environment for investors, and strengthen the country’s competitiveness in the region and the world.
Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister also encouraged TotalEnergies to continue to establish connections and work with relevant ministries and institutions of the Royal Government of Cambodia to ensure the company’s further success and to address its challenges.
