Cambodia, Japan to Sign Exchange of Notes on Japanese Grant Aid of Nearly US$3 Million
AKP Phnom Penh, February 26, 2025 --
Japan will provide a grant aid of JPY 404,000,000 (approximately USS2.9 million) for the implementation of the Economic and Social Development Programme in Cambodia, according to a press release from the Ministry Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation AKP received this evening.
The Exchange of Notes and related documents on the grant aid extension will be signed here on Feb. 27, 2025 between Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Ueno Atsushi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, the source pointed out.
The grant assistance aims to enhance the training and research capacity of the Techo Sen Institute of Public Works and Transport, testifying to Japan's unwavering commitment to supporting Cambodia's socio-economic development, underlined the press release.
