Most visitors disembarked to explore attractions in Preah Sihanouk province, including beaches, tourist sites and cultural and historical landmarks. Two tourists continued onward to Siem Reap province to visit the Angkor area.
Authorities said the cruise ship’s stopover aims to allow visitors to spend a full day experiencing Cambodia’s culture, civilisation, traditions and development, particularly the rapid growth of Preah Sihanouk province.
Immigration officials and local authorities facilitated swift processing procedures to enable tourists to disembark efficiently and travel to nearby destinations.
Provincial authorities also coordinated arrangements to ensure visitors could enjoy their stay in comfort with public safety and security maintained throughout their visit.
