Cambodian Top Diplomat to Visit Two Nations in Oceania
AKP Phnom Penh, March 10, 2026 -- Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will pay an official visit to two nations in Oceania on Friday, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC).
H.E. Prak Sokhonn will visit New Zealand from Mar. 13-14, followed by an official visit to Australia from Mar. 15-16, at the invitations of the Rt. Hon. Winston Peters, Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, and Senator the Hon. Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia.
The bilateral meetings between the Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn and his New Zealand and Australian counterparts and leaders of the two countries provide good opportunities to further strengthen and deepen bilateral relations and cooperation in all fields, as well as in contributing to peace, security, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world beyond.
The upcoming visits underscore Cambodia's long-standing friendship and fruitful cooperation with New Zealand and Australia.
