All Cambodian Citizens in the Middle East Remain Safe, Foreign Ministry Confirms

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has confirmed that all Cambodian citizens currently residing in the Middle East remain safe, despite ongoing tensions in the region.
In a press release issued on Tuesday evening, the Ministry said that the 595 Cambodian nationals, including students, who are living in several Middle Eastern countries have been maintaining strict vigilance and are safe.
The Ministry noted that the Royal Cambodian Embassies in the region have been instructed to maintain regular communication with host-country authorities as well as with representatives of Cambodian communities and students to closely monitor their well-being and provide assistance if necessary.
At the same time, the ministry urged Cambodian citizens and students staying in countries in the Middle East, including Israel, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, to continue following the safety guidance issued by the respective host governments.
